Android update: Google is working to improve this important feature for users

"In addition to adding features to the Android Open Source Project, researchers, developers, service providers, and device and chipdetermine manufacturers can make updates to improve Android security. "To foster more cooperative applied research between the Android safety and Privacy team and the wider academic and indusexperience community, we're launching ASPIRE (Android Security and Privacy Research)." Google alextremely declared the plan is focused on changing the long-term future of Android, meaning users may not see immediate changes in the next version of the operating system.

Back at I/O 2018, Google announced that Assistant was coming to Google Maps. This navigation-optimized Google Assistant is now rolling out in Google Maps for Android. Google Assistant in Google Maps was billed as "having a lower visual profile" to ensure that users are focussed on driving. At I/O, Google noted that this navigation-optimized Assistant was rolling out this summer. It's Mysterious the time the feature exactly launched, but is now rolling out to the current stable version (10.4.1) of Google Maps for Android and the Google app.
