HMD is preparing to unveil its flagship Nokia-branded android phone next month. The new Nokia 8 is expected to be unveiled on August 16th, and it will mark the first time a Nokia-branded Android device ships with Carl Zeiss optics. The Nokia 8 is rumored to include a dual-camera system with 13-megapixel sensors and Carl Zeiss optics. HMD Global, which licenses the Nokia brand name, declined to comment on this story. If true, this is just what the Nokia brand -- once a top-two titan of mobile -- needs. The Nokia 8 reveal was speculated to take place in a promotional Nokia video in May, but the actual video didn't show much besides glimpses of the phone's appearance.
