Windows 10's latest preview links an Android phone to a PC
In a new Windows 10 preview (build 16251) released today, android users will be able to test a new "Microsoft Apps" application that links a phone to a PC. Alongside these new phone features, Microsoft is also enhancing Cortana in this latest Windows 10 preview. Microsoft hasn't revealed when iphone users will be able to test similar functionality, so it's Android only for now. Cortana will also now support "Hey Cortana, restart PC" or shutdown, lock, or simply sign out. The link will enable new cross-device features, including the ability to share a link from a mobile directly to a Windows 10 PC.Although the device is not named in the invite it is certain this phone is the Nokia lumia 8, a high-end android phone that will join the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 in the company's product line-up. If indeed there is a Zeiss camera inside the Nokia 8, this will also be the first Android phone to come with such camera. Although for now it is not certain that the Nokia 8 will have the Carl Zeiss camera. There are speculations that HMD could launch two variants of the Nokia 8, based on the storage size. But the latest one is the real deal as the August 16 gets confirmed with an official invite from Nokia.
