Googlers working on ‘click-to-call’ functionality between Chrome desktop and Android

Some Googlers are looking to simplify this minor inconvenience by a potentially upcoming click-to-call feature that works between deskhighest and Android Chrome. For example, Chrome OS offers to open tel: links by the Google Contacts app. From your phone, you'll then see a notification containing the sent phone number and a call button. What do you think, would you use such a click-to-call feature if it ever did launch in Chrome?

Dark mode lovers have alavailiable been rejoicing in the upcoming launch of Chrome for Android's own version of dark mode, ever we demonstrated an early version in Chrome 73 beta. A new code change indicates that Chrome for Android going to recolor web pages themselves the time using the browser's upcoming dark mode. Between the inclusion of dark mode in a wide variety of Google apps and the addition of a system-wide dark mode in Android Q, including automatically darkening apps that don't have their own built-in dark mode, it's clear that dark mode is a high priority for Google this year. that means both Chrome for Android and WebView going to recently both be able to darken web pages the time in their respective dark modes. As for Android WebView, we may not see that arrive in WebView beta for a few more weeks, likely in version 74.
