Back to the Note 8 update, this news comes via Reddit consumer /u/Teo_Yanchev, that posted a screengrab of the update being downloaded to their opened Galaxy Note 8 device. We're not entirely sure if this update brings the Night Mode scheduling that we've recently seen the Galaxy S9 and S9+ receive. For anyone by the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, get excited as we've seen by the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9, this update almost changes the entire experience by your device. It's alextremely worth pointing out that the Samsung update roadmap did state that the Android Pie update would come this month.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 getting a second Android Pie beta update
Shortly after we saw the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 get a 2nd Android Pie update, we are now seeing global S8 and S8+ users get a follow-up update to their devices. This update (via SamMobile & Reddit consumer /u/harburgerz) going to bump up S8 and S8+ beta users software versions to G950FXXU4ZSAC and G955FXXU4ZSAC respectively. We're continue likely to see a 3rd beta update for the S8 and S8+ to fix that problem in the coming days — at least ahead of a full Pie release. We were expecting the update to come to the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ after seeing the Note 8 receive the patches and software fixes.
