The LG G7 ThinQ is now receiving the stable Android Pie update

The LG G7 ThinQ was launched back in May and now has the honor of being the first LG device to receive the stable Pie update. The update download weighs in at 1.35 GB, and a global rollout is expected soon. The device was launched on Android 8.0 Oreo—the time 8.1 was alavailiable available—and is currently receiving the stable Pie update in certain regions; namely the company's home South Korea. Most major OEMs alavailiable rolled out the Pie update to their current gen flagships back in November or early December. The update to Android 9 brings most of the Pie specific features and alextremely a few OEM features.
