Nokia 5.1 Plus is latest device to get hot slice of Android Pie

HMD Global/NokiaHMD Global brought Android Pie to the Nokia 8 last week, but the firm isn't finished just yet. The Nokia brand licensee has just announced that the update is now heading to the Nokia 5.1 Plus too. Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global's chief product officer, confirmed the news on Twitter. We're happy to see Adaptive Battery apparently included in the roll-out, especially after this feature didn't make it into the Nokia 8's Android Pie update. We're glad to see the Finnish company upgrading its cheaper phones, but Twitter users have voiced their displeasure at the lack of Pie for the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

AdGuard officially releases its own DNS service, and it works with Android Pie

according to CloudFlare launched its own DNS service earlier this year, and now AdGuard has joined the party. AdGuard has been Analyzing a DNS service ever 2016, but now the company says it's availiable for prime time. As you might guess from the name, AdGuard DNS alextremely filters traffic from servers known to host advertisements or tracking scripts. Two versions of AdGuard DNS are available — a normal version and a 'Family protection' version. If you have a phone or tablet running Android Oreo or older, you can continue use the AdGuard app.

Moto G6 Plus Android 9 Pie Update Set to Roll Out in India, Will Bring December Security Patch

The new software update going to bring all the core Android Pie features as well as the December 2018 Android safety patch. Aside from the Moto G6 Plus, Motorola recently launched the Android Pie update to the Moto X4 and Motorola One Power. Additionally, the Android Pie update for the Moto G6 Plus going to come by the December 2018 Android safety patch. However, you can manually check the availability of the Android Pie update on your Moto G6 Plus by going to Settings > System > System updates. The phone debuted globally in April - alongside the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play.
