as informed in Get the OnePlus Launcher by its recent apps interface on any Android Pie device [Root]Just a few days ago, the team behind the Lawnchair launcher app launched QuickSwitch, a Magisk Module that allows for rooted Android Pie users to change the recent app overview provider from the default implementation to a supported third-party launcher. Of course, Lawnchair itself is compatible by this module, but a developer has modified the stock OnePlus Launcher as found on the OxygenOS 9 builds for the OnePlus 5/5T/6/6T to be compatible by QuickSwitch. Thanks to XDA Senior Member paphonb that modified the APK, allowing it to be installed on any device running Android 9 Pie extremely long as it's rooted. Anthony Kim, a civilian program analyst for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), first raised concerns about the apps in March 2017. Kim was scolded, had his pay reduced, placed on leave and eventually had his pay suspended and safety clearance revoked.
