It has now started sending mail to those that joined Nokia 6.1 Plus Android Pie beta program thanking them for their feedback and confirming that the final update ought roll out soon. At the launch of Nokia 3.1 Plus, HMD Global confirmed that Nokia 5.1 Plus going to join company's Android 9 Pie roadmap soon. Nokia 7 plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus are among the first non-Pixel devices to get the Digital Wellbeing feature.


Huawei expands device list for the Android 9 Pie beta program

Huawei is doing a good job in offering an update to Android 9 Pie. The initial list of devices eligible for the new OS was limited to the Mate 10 Pro, P20 (and Pro), Honor 10, and Honor V10. According to a recent report, 13 more devices — phones and tablets — going to be eligible, and are hence added to the Android 9 Pie beta program. The devices Huawei added to the Pie beta program is a clear indication that these devices going to get official Android 9 updates. In addition to the ones we mentioned, if you have a device that's on the following list, you'll get your Android 9 Pie update at one point.

Unlike the early look last month, this appears to be a much later build that's nearly availiable for Samsung's official beta rollout. The Samsung Android Pie update doesn't seem to completely revamp the system, but it does have a pretty clean look that is vastly improved from what we saw a few weeks ago.

It's a little behind some other OEMs, but Samsung's Android 9 Pie beta is coming and we've alavailiable had a glimpse of what it going to look like. We've received new screens from an anonymoAmerica consumer who's been able to download the beta build (G965USQU3ZRJ7) on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ a little early, extremely we now have an even clearer picture of the upcoming Samsung Experience 10. The home monitor and navigation buttons remain unchanged, and the quick settings panel has been refined and now features larger, bolder type. Switching between apps via the Overview monitor (below left) is extremely similar to the Android 9 Pie default we see on Pixel devices, by smaller app previews than in the last leak. It can't be also long before this starts rolling out to users that have signed up to beta analisis by their Galaxy S9/S9+.
