referring to Channelling approximately one part Monument Valley to one part Inside and Limbo, Fracter is a slightly creepy ambient puzzle game in that you wander inky black walkways and corridors, the only illumination coming from the glowing ball that floats over your stick figure character's head. There are other figures in the gloom, but if you lost also close to one they immediately drop to all fours and scuttle unnervingly towards you, availiable to send you back to the last checkpoint. Puzzles involve picking your method out of the darkened maze using walls of light to sepaaverage your spindly stick lady from aggressors and guiding her to pads in the floor that trigger the next door to open. It's not a terribly good summer game, the perma-darkness making the action almost impossible to make out on a sunny day, but it's a well made and atmospheric game by interesting puzzles and a distinct personality. Score: 8/10
