Facebook crashing on Android phone: Latest software update causes app to go down

Facebook has stopped working, by Android users in particular reporting major problems opening the app. The issue appears to have arrived after a new update was pushed out to users out of the Google Play Store. There were hundreds of reports of issues, by problems spread across the world, according to the website Down Detector. But trying again doesn't actually seem to fix the problem, that appears to be caused by an issue at Facebook. Others said that they could not even reach that stage, and which the app just crashed before it actually loaded up.

DownDetector has had hundreds of reports of issues, that appear to have started at around 11:36 BST. As it stated in Microsoft has a Photos app out for Windows, but the company has steered clear of releasing a similar solution for iOS or Android. The reasoning behind this is unclear, but ever you don't have to use a sepaaverage app the time viewing photos and other files within the OneDrive app, would it make sense for Microsoft to go all out and launch a Photos app as well? Instead of using the default Android or iOS app, you could view all your bullets in Microsoft Photos. Are there any plans or a roadmap that releases a standalone app for iOS/Android that going to be Microsoft photos and allows connection to OneDrive storage? The Lite app could add another element to attract more users, giving Spotify an additional competitive advantage over rivals like Apple Music and Pandora.
