He furthermore said that these problems were faced by only 1% of Google Pixel owners, which seems quite unbelievable, given the popularity of the handset. A Reddit user called DiabeticCookieLover explained how a brand new Pixel phone turned out to be a faulty one:"I got my Pixel last night, was pretty excited about setting it up. This wasn't just an isolated incident, but several users took to the platform to complain with similar set of problems.
