Android One's next phone is the General Mobile GM6 for Turkey
General Mobile debuted a new phone with modest specifications and Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest version of the mobile platform. Neither Google nor General Mobile provided a price or a release date for the GM6 in Turkey. This, however, is because General Mobile needs to keep the phone's price down. The GM6, which will be released exclusively in Turkey, actually seems quite better than most of the Android One devices released before. If you do buy the GM6, you'll get software updates directly from Google as that's one of Android One's stipulations.
General Mobile GM6 is an Android One phone with fingerprint sensor, 3000 mAh removable battery
But some budget devices are better than others, and the new General Mobile GM6 maybe be the best Android One smartphone to date. It ships with Android Nougat softare, features a 13MP rear camera, and the General Mobile GM6 is the first Android One phone I'm aware of to feature a fingerprint sensor built. The phone features a 5 inch, 1280 x 720 pixel LCD display, a MediaTek MT6737T quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Most Android One smartphones are low-cost affairs, designed to offer budget-conscious customers in emerging markets access to the latest Android software features with updates delivered directly from Google. The GM6 also has a 3,000 mAh removable battery and a "selfie flash" option that lets you light up pictures snapped with the 8MP camera on the front of the phone.
