Android 7.1 Nougat Installed on Nokia Lumia 520 Windows Phone
- Microsoft has more or less abandoned the Lumia 520, since this particular model is was left stranded with Windows Phone 8.1 and with no possibility of upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile, but someone else has found a solution to bring it back to life.As you can see in the video below (via PA), Android Nougat 7.1 is running on this super-old Lumia 520, and by the looks of things, performance is pretty good at first glance.Of course, Lumia 520 running Android Nougat isn't the snappiest phone we've seen, but it's living proof that even an old Windows phone that was abandoned by Microsoft can run the latest Android version in a pretty decent way.
