The update has been remarkably stable, save for an issue with the Facebook app, which Samsung fixed with a second small update, but now another drawback of installing the pre-release beta has emerged.It seems that you can no longer connect your Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with the Gear VR contraption.Now, whether this is due to the Oculus Store app not having Nougat support yet, or to the fact that there might be a lot of code from the Note 7 in the beta, and Occulus already cut the connection to its app for the phablet , remains to be seen, but that's just something to keep in mind if you are planning to apply for the Nougat beta on your S7 or S7 edge.

PHONE MAKER HTC has launched the Nougat-powered HTC 10 Evo, its first smartphone to follow the iPhone 7 by ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack.The HTC 10 Evo is effectively a rebranded version of the HTC Bolt which the firm announced earlier this month as an exclusive to US carrier Sprint.Here in the UK, the HTC 10 Evo won't be available on any networks.
