AdvertisementTrue to its promise, Google has finally begun pushing out the Android 7.0 Nougat software update for the LTE model of the Nexus 9 tablet.Earlier in July, we reported that an "OS Upgrade Schedule" from Canadian carrier Rogers had revealed that the Android 7.0 Nougat software update for the Nexus 9 would be coming soon.Now close on the heels of the Motorola-made Nexus 6 beginning to receive the much-awaited firmware update on Tuesday, Oct. 4 (after Google promised in August that it, along with the Nexus 9, would benefit from Android 7.0 Nougat in the "coming weeks"), the Nexus 9 LTE is finally being updated from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the latest version.

Upcoming HTC Bolt Smartphone To Run Android 7.0 NougatLast month, we started seeing rumors of a new HTC device called the HTC Bolt, with a codename of Acadia, which was originally leaked by @evleaks.The original Tweet has been followed up by @LabTooFeR with a little more information: apparently the device is to run Android 7.0 Nougat under the HTC Sense 8gp interface, that is, the variant of Sense closer to stock Android.As such, the new HTC Bolt uses the same version of HTC Sense but over a newer version of Android.
