Google rumored to launch two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches in Q1 2017
A new rumor claims Google is targeting the first quarter of 2017 for the launch of its first two Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches.The company first revealed the second major version of its smartwatch operating system earlier this year, but so far it has not confirmed plans to release its own wearable devices that will run the OS.The new rumor comes from prolific internet gadget news leaker Even Blass, better known as "evleaks", via his Twitter account.
Google will release Android 7.1 beta for Nexus devices this month
Google just announced that it plans to release a developer preview and public beta of Android 7.1, the first major update to Nougat, sometime later this month.The 7.1 beta will be available first on the Nexus 6P, 5X, and Pixel C tablet.The Pixel and Pixel XL, launching on October 20th, will be the first devices to ship with Android 7.1 out of the box.
The Made by Google smartwatches to save Android Wear are coming soon
Google's rumoured own-branded Android Wear smartwatches will reportedly launch in the first three months of next year.According to Evan Blass (aka @Evleaks) the wearables will arrive running the new Android Wear 2.0 software.We first heard of these watches, codenamed Angelfish and Swordfish back in July.
